Making Home more School-Friendly

• Transitioning your kids back to school doesn’t stop after the last bell rings but continues once they get back home. Think about homework assignments that need to be completed. A great back-to-school idea is to create a more functional study area where your child feels comfortable. Call it the ‘homework zone’.

• Ask your self this, “Do my kids throw their backpacks on the floor?” Perhaps you should try building an organization system that works for your kids. Mount hooks on the door or in the hall closet. Make it easy for kids to become neat. For larger spaces, make cubbies for your kids’ books, shoes and backpacks. Genius idea since this is a replica of school lockers at school.
